MUELLER REPORT SCENARIOS

Yup, CNN, MSNBC, and much of the rest of the media, have their undies in a knot, about the prospect of Mueller resigning in the near future, and his report being suppressed by Trump loyalists. But I see  a number of possible scenarios leading to a full report being published. 

In no particular order, they are:

1. Attorney General Barr keeps his “transparency” promise made to the Senate at his confirmation hearing, and publishes most of the report except for sealed grand jury testimony. That gets leaked later.

And/or,

2. Before he quits, Mueller unseals a raft of earlier-filed "speaking" indictments, (Donald Jr., Jared, others in the TCF, etc.) that basically tell the whole story. Then he laterals to other prosecutors in D.C, SDNY, DOJ, and various state Attorney Generals, unfinished cases involving open subpoenas, the Seychelles meeting, Russian involvement and other irregularities in the Trump Inauguration Committee, tax, and other crimes of the Trump Organization, etc.  That accomplished, he hands his report to Barr, and says, "Here, Asshole, you got down on your knees to apply for this job, sit on this."

And/or,

3. Barr, a Trump loyalist, suppresses the juicy parts of the Mueller report. The twelve remaining lawyers on the Mueller staff have already drawn lots as to which of them will deliver to the post office, plain white envelopes bearing no return address. The envelopes will contain flash drives containing the entire report. The addressees will be The NYTimes, The Washington Post, Slate, BuzzFeed, Axios, and The Guardian. BuzzFeed will make little or no effort to verify authenticity, and will quickly put the whole thing on the web. The other media entities will do likewise, saying they have not yet independently verified authenticity, but they have a duty to show their readers what BuzzFeed published. So within 24 hours, before any injunctions issue, they will all have published the entire report on the web, including an appendix containing key pieces of documentary and testimonial evidence, The NYT and Washpo will flip a coin, and the winner will print the entire thing, in five volumes, and have it on sale on Amazon within 48 hours. Pentagon Papers redux.

And/or,

4. The House Judiciary, Intelligence, and Oversight Committees will each serve Mueller with a subpoena duces tecum for the report and the appendix, returnable instanter. Being a law abiding citizen, Mueller will comply. Those committees will vote to make it all public. See para 3.

And/or,

5. Trump declares a National Emergency, appoints Senator Lindsey Graham a four star general (Temp), and directs him to use the military to round up all the journalists and members of Congress he claims are ""enemies of the people." A First-lieutenant from San Diego leads a revolt, refuses to obey the Trump-Graham command, and instead arrests Mitch McConnell. Whereupon  his platoon proceeds to the White House. At bayonet point, the cabinet votes to remove Trump via the 25th Amendment.  Later that day, SLOTUS Karen Sue Pence sees a picture published by a newly principled Pecker publication, that shows her harried husband having a glass of wine while lunching alone with a woman (Kirstjen Nielson.) SLOTUS threatens to report him to Billy Graham Jr. Pence punts, promises permanent prostration to SLOTUS's  re-programming demands, resigns from office, and hastens to a monastery in Greece. Nancy Pelosi is sworn in as President, and in her inaugural address reads selected paragraphs from the Mueller report.
