THE DEFINITION OF INSANITY

These are the undisputed facts:

In New York State, 70,000 Health Care Workers are not vaccinated against Covid. Why? A whole host of the usual reasons: they don’t trust the government, they don’t trust the Democrats, God says don’t do it, blah, blah, blah. Health care workers, nurses, nurse’s  aides, hospitalists, not vaccinated. Can you believe that?

And the same is true for 23,000 people who work in adult care centers--not vaccinated. 

In the New York City schools, where, like everywhere else, no student under 12 has been vaccinated, there are 19,000 education department staff who are not vaccinated, and there are 7,800 teachers who have not been vaccinated.

Is that insane, or what?

When the State and City each mandated vaccination, the zombies went to court and in the teachers' case, they actually got a restraining order blocking the mandate—so that on opening day, a non-vaccinated teacher could face nonvaccinated kids under 12 years old. While the U.S. Supreme Court probably would have let that status remain for nine months while it read briefs and wrote opinions, it took the Second Circuit less than 72 hours to yank the restraining order and put the mandate back into effect.The losers promised to go to the Supreme Court of the United States, where anything can happen these days. Meanwhile, the kids are safer.

And that is in left-wing New York!

 

For reasons that used to be way beyond me, the vax or no-vax divide is highly political. The leading no-vax states, (which are, of course, the states with the highest death rates) are all Republican Party dominated: West Virginia, Wyoming, Mississippi, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Kentucky, and Idaho. The latter has now ordered a fleet of refrigerated trucks to hold the un-vaxed corpses, and the wait there for cremation is several weeks, (almost as long as the wait for an abortion in Oklahoma which is receiving an influx of young women escaping from neighboring Texas!)

So why is it that, nationwide, 90% of Democrats are fully vaccinated, but only 58% Republicans are-- especially given the fact that Covid deaths are rising and more than 99% of Covid deaths are un-vaccinated patients?   

I could never make any sense of this until this morning when I was referred to an article in Breitbart that explained it all:

 Basically, the Democrats are using psychology to kill off the Republicans, and eventually become the dominant political party in the red states.

How are they killing them off? The Breitbart writer lays it all out for us:

“If I wanted to use reverse psychology to convince people not to get a life-saving vaccination I would do exactly what's the left is doing … I would bully and taunt and mock and ridicule you for not getting vaccinated [against the 'China Flu'] knowing the human response would be, ‘Hey, fuck you, I’m never getting vaccinated!’”

 “Because leftists like Howard Stern and CNN and Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi and Anthony Fauci are deliberately looking to manipulate Trump supporters into not getting vaccinated … no one wants to cave-in to a piece of shit liked Stern, or a scumbag like Fauci, or any of the scumbags at CNN. So we don't. And what’s the results? They are all vaccinated and we are not. And when you look at the numbers, the only     numbers that matter, which is who is dying, it's overwhelmingly the unvaccinated who are dying and they [the Democrats]  really have just manipulated millions of their political enemies into the unvaccinated [death] camp.”

Thanks to the good people at Breitbart, I now understand. It’s not insanity. It’s just the current official Republican knee-jerk policy: "No matter how good a proposition is for the country, if the Dems like it, we are opposed to it."  Hmm... .
